Whisker's Way is governed by a dedicated Board of Directors, who are not only champions of animal rights but also committed stewards of our mission and resources. With our established 501(c)(3) status, we continue to focus on our goals of animal welfare and community service, guided by our bylaws and the ethical framework that underpins our operations.

Nicole Gonzalez

TREASURER OF THE BOARD
Nicole Gonzalez, with a notable 20-year tenure in the film industry climaxing as a department head and seasoned Property Master, is affiliated with the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) and the Property Master's Guild (PMG). Advocating for the underdog, she joined the board of Delhi the Street Dog Foundation in 2018, actively engaging in international adoption efforts. In 2022, Nicole and her husband moved from California to Arizona to pursue a quieter life centered around her passions for animals and community service. Known for her innovative approach and hands-on activism, Nicole contributes her skills to dog organizations and animal welfare through engaging content and video production, continually working to enhance animal welfare initiatives.

PRESIDENT of the board
Savahna brings over 16 years of professional experience in animal welfare. Throughout her career, she has worked and volunteered with numerous rescues across California and Arizona; she has fostered more than 100 animals to date and successfully facilitated countless adoptions. She is dedicated to continually enhancing her skills in various areas of the industry, including veterinary medicine, behavioral and temperament assessments, wildlife rehabilitation, and grooming. She aims to share her experience and knowledge with the public and shift perspectives on animal rescue.

Jessica is a dedicated and experienced non-profit leader with a proven track record of success. She founded her own non-profit organization and has extensive experience operating and managing charitable initiatives. Jessica has a deep passion for fostering dogs, having provided loving homes to over 20 foster dogs. Her dedication to both community service and animal welfare showcases her compassionate and driven nature, and she looks forward to continuing to make an even greater impact.
